BAS training
BAS training is a 20-hour training course,
which includes required training for providers of Behavior Assistant
Services.
This training meets the standards set by the
State of Florida for BAS certification. Classes will meet four times, five hours each session.
BAS training is held on an as needed basis. We
form classes once there are enough interested students. Classes are held in a
small group format. Classes are generally conducted in the evening or on
weekends. Call or email Phoenix Behavior Services to inquire about class
schedules.
Classes may be held on-site, for agencies with
appropriate training facilities. Up to 20 students may participate in each
on-site BAS class.
New: We are now
offering individualized BAS training. Individualized training can be scheduled
immediately, without waiting for a class to form, and in done in a one-on-one
setting. Individualized training is ideal for students who wish to complete
training immediately, or who desire individual attention and
teaching.
BAS training class: $200/ person
Individual BAS training: $500/person
On-site BAS classes: $2000 for up to 20 individuals
Supervision
Clinical supervision
by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst is available for BCBA and BCABA
candidates. This supervision meets the supervisory requirements set forth by
the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. Candidates must be employed as
behavior analysts a minimum of 20 hours per week. Supervision takes place 1.5
hours per week, and follows the guidelines set forth by the BACB. Per these
guidelines, the supervision will include on-site observation of the candidates
work during a portion of the supervision. Supervisees are expected to bring
data, assessments, and behavior intervention plans to each supervision session.
Supervision by a Licensed Psychologist is also
available on a limited basis for psychology candidates who are employed
as psychology residents. This service is ideal for candidates who hold a
license to practice independently (LCSW, BCBA, LMHC, etc.), but are pursuing
psychology licensure as well. This service might also be beneficial for
residents who have a supervising psychologist on premises, but who are not able
to complete individualized supervision with this psychologist. Please note that most psychology
residents must have a psychologist on-site to complete their post-doctoral
supervision, and thus would not be eligible to contract with our company for
their supervision. Please view the Florida Laws and Regulations to determine if
your situation qualifies.
Supervision: $100/ hour
Remote Supervision
Remote
supervision by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst is available for BCBA and
BCABA candidates who do not reside in the local area. This option is ideal for
candidates who practice in areas without access to a BCBA. This service is
designed to meet the supervisory requirements set forth by the Behavior Analysis
Certification Board. Candidates must be employed as behavior analysts a minimum
of 20 hours per week. Supervision is held using technology such as telephone,
email, video, and fax. Supervision is not asynchronous. That is, the
supervisor and supervisee must have meetings, at the same time, using technology
to communicate.
Supervisees requesting remote supervision must be able
to send in video monitoring of their work, in advance of their supervision
session, to meet the observation requirements of the BACB. They must send
copies of all work (assessments, data, graphs, etc.) to Phoenix Behavior
Services either by mail or email. The supervisee is responsible for the
cost of phone calls associated with their supervision.
Remote supervision: $100/ hour
Supervisee pays the cost of phone calls and postage associated with
supervision
